RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Welcome to our return policy page. Please carefully review our Return Policy when purchasing our products. This policy will apply to any order you place with us unless listed otherwise. We want to ensure that you have a hassle-free experience when it comes to returning or exchanging products purchased from our website. Please read the following information carefully before initiating a return or exchange.

Contact Lenses: Contact lenses can be returned/exchanged in-store or via mail within 90 days of your original purchase date. Item(s) must be in their original condition(s); boxes must be unmarked, undamaged, unopened, uncut and unexpired. There are no partial refunds. All astigmatism/toric, color and presbyopia/multi-focal products are a final sale with no returns or exchanges allowed due to customization. In the unlikely event of a manufacturer defect with your contact lenses, do not throw them away. See "Manufacturer Warranty".

Non-prescription Frames & Sunglasses: Non-prescription frames and sunglasses can be returned/exchanged in-store or via mail within 14 days from the received date. Item(s) must be returned in their original condition with all packaging and any warranty cards, and/or certificate of authenticity if one was provided by the manufacturer (Not all manufacturers provide warranty cards/certificates of authenticity).

Prescription Frames: Prescription frames can be returned/exchanged in-store or via mail within 14 days from the received date. Item(s) must be returned in their original condition with all packaging and any warranty cards, and/or certificate of authenticity if one was provided by the manufacturer (Not all manufacturers provide warranty cards/certificates of authenticity).

Special order items are final sale and not eligible for returns or refunds. Customers will be advised prior to shipping that an item is a special order and/or final sale.

Note:

  • If the designated amount of days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a refund or exchange.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method, minus shipping charges. We are unable to switch refunds to a new or different payment method.
  • Exchanges are offered for only the same item in different size and color.
  • All refunds, exchanges, and warranties are subject to inspection. Any items that do not meet the above conditions may be refused or subject to a 15% restocking fee. Customer may incur charges made by credit card companies for processing transactions.
  • Glimpse and See Eyewear is not liable for delays or damages caused during shipping.
  • All products purchased in-store will fall under the in-store purchases return/exchange policy.
  • Glimpse and See Eyewear has the right to refuse service at any time.

HOW TO RETURN ONLINE PURCHASES

If you wish to return your online product please follow the steps below. Please note, this does not apply to returns for in-store purchases.

Return in-store:

IMPORTANT: To return a product, please email glimpse8see@gmail.com for a Return Authorization Number (RA) BEFORE visiting our store. Visit us at Glimpse and See Eyewear, bring your purchase and invoice with original packaging, warranty cards, and/or certificate of authenticity if one was provided by the manufacturer (not all manufacturers provide warranty cards/certificates of authenticity) along with your RA number. Items must be in original, unworn condition. We'll take care of the rest.

Return via Mail:

IMPORTANT: To return a product, please email glimpse8see@gmail.com for a Return Authorization Number (RA) BEFORE shipping back to us.  Items received without RA number will not be accepted. Instructions will be given for each return individually. All items must be returned in the original, sellable condition along with any included accessories (warranty card, certificate of authenticity, etc.) if one was provided by the manufacturer (not all manufacturers provide warranty cards/certificates of authenticity). Include your original invoice inside the package.

RETURN ADDRESS WILL BE PROVIDED WITH RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER

All refunds will be made in the original method of payment used for your purchase. Refunds will appear on your credit card statement. This process may take up to 3 weeks depending on your credit card provider.

All refunds, exchanges, and warranties are subject to inspection. Any items that do not meet the above conditions may be refused or subject to a 15% restocking fee.

We are not liable for delays or damages caused during shipping.

When returning your online order (in-store or returning by mail), you will not be refunded for your import or original shipping fees. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are shipping an item over $100, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was damaged or defective.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method and insuring the package to ensure its safe arrival.

Any additional customs fees or taxes associated with return shipments are the responsibility of the customer.

About the Refunds

All refunds, exchanges, and warranties are subject to inspection. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Any items that do not meet the above conditions may be refused or subject to a 15% restocking fee. If you are approved, refunds will be credited to the original payment method, excluding any shipping or handling fees. We are unable to switch refunds to a new or different payment method. Customer may incur charges made by credit card companies for processing transactions. Please allow up to 5 business days for the refund to be reflected in your account.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Personalized or customized products.
  • Final sale or clearance items.
  • Special order items.
  • Astigmatism/toric and presbyopia/multi-focal contact lenses.

Some frames and sunglasses are final sale and are not eligible for returns, refunds, exchanges and warranties. Customers will be advised prior to shipping that an item is a final sale.

Damaged or Defective Items:

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please notify us immediately. We may require photo evidence and a detailed description of the issue.

We will arrange for the return shipping or provide a prepaid shipping label for your convenience.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or model, please follow the return process outlined.

  • There may be restocking fees associated with certain returns or exchanges.
  • Restocking fees will be clearly communicated before initiating the return.
  • The fees, if applicable, will be deducted from the refund amount.

Once we receive the returned item, we will process the refund and you can place a new order for the desired item.

Contact Lenses: There are no refunds on contact lenses purchased in-store. Exchanges for the same product with a different prescription can be made within 90 days from original purchase date. Exchange item(s) must be in their original condition(s); boxes must be unmarked, undamaged, unopened, uncut and unexpired. There are no exchanges or refunds on all astigmatism/toric and presbyopia/multi-focal product due to the specific customization of these items.

Sunglasses: Sunglasses can be exchanged within 7 days of the original purchase date. Any difference in price will be paid by the customer or become a store credit. Exchange item(s) must be in their original condition with packaging, warranty cards, and/or certificate of authenticity if one was provided by the manufacturer (Not all manufacturers provide warranty cards/certificates of authenticity).

Prescription Lenses: Prescription eyewear is customized for each individual, there are no refunds. For exchanges due to prescription adjustment, see "Manufacturer Warranty".

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Refunds

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at glimpse8see@gmail.com.

Frequent Returns

We offer a return policy to provide customers with an easy and convenient shopping experience. If you are experiencing sizing issues or consistently finding merchandise to be unsatisfactory, please contact us at glimpse8see@gmail.com. Frequent returns made from the same address will automatically be flagged in our system. If we notice that our return policy is being abused, we may take action in the form of blocking an account and/or cancelling future orders. Glimpse and See Eyewear reserves the right to reject returns which do not comply with the return policy. Returns that do not respect the policy may be sent back to the original shipping address.

Contact Lenses

In the unlikely event of a manufacturer defect of your contact lenses, do not throw them away. Online orders: please contact glimpse8see@gmail.com or (416) 551-2020. In-store purchases can only be processed in-store. Please take the defective contact lens(es) and invoice to the store.

Frames

In the unlikely event of a manufacturer defect, an identical frame will be replaced (one time only) within 365 days from the date of purchase. This does not include scratches, self-inflicted abuse, rough handling, wear and tear, etc. Any cosmetic issues, such as scratches, paint chips or marks, are not covered by warranty unless they occur straight from the box and are reported within 14 days of delivery; after 14 days they will be classified as wear and tear and be ineligible for any return or warranty claim. If a frame has been discontinued, a new frame of the same brand and value will be given. This is subject to frame availability and manufacturer’s offered warranty. Online purchases, please contact us at glimpse8see@gmail.com. In-store purchase(s) can only be processed in-store.

Prescription Lenses

In the unlikely event of a manufacturer defect on the coating of your lenses, an identical pair will be replaced (one time only) within 365 days from the original purchase date. This includes bubbling, peeling, etc. on the coating. Scratches, any damages from heat or moisture, self-inflicted abuse, etc. are not included. Any cosmetic issues, such as scratches or marks, are not covered by warranty unless they occur straight from the box and are reported within 14 days of delivery; after 14 days they will be classified as wear and tear and be ineligible for any return or warranty claim.

Prescription Lens Adaptation

We want to ensure you have the best vision possible. We will exchange your prescription lenses (one time only) within 90 days from the original purchase date if your optometrist adjusts your prescription. Your prescription must be valid within two years of the purchase date. This can only be processed in-store.
